How to read this notice
Quantellect Technologies Inc. combines source information with its own research and calculations. This notice identifies data and software sources relevant to the service and explains the limits on use.
A source listing does not mean that the source supplies every displayed field, supports every instrument, or endorses Quantellect. Particular features can use different sources, historical archives, or supplementary feeds. Read the attribution, timestamp, and methodology associated with the data you are using.
Commercial data sources
Twelve Data, twelvedata.com. Market prices, reference information, and other datasets identified with this source remain subject to applicable subscription, display, redistribution, attribution, and upstream provider terms.
EOD Historical Data, eodhd.com. Datasets and marketplace products identified with EODHD can carry different use rights and limitations. A personal subscription does not authorize a public platform to redistribute its data. Where a field is identified as an estimate or indicative value, it must not be treated as an executable exchange quote.
Intrinio, intrinio.com. Use of Intrinio data and outputs incorporating that data depends on the relevant order form, display rights, AI permissions, and upstream conditions. An AI generated summary or transformed output does not automatically remove the underlying licence restrictions.
Databento, databento.com. Rights can depend on the underlying dataset, exchange, and intended use. Historical access, live access, external display, automated use, and redistribution are distinct permissions. Access through Databento does not itself establish every right for a Quantellect user.
Other commercial source credits may identify WhaleWisdom, Finnhub, PRAAMS through the EODHD marketplace, analyst research sources, or licensed news distributors. Quiver Quantitative is retained as a legacy congressional-disclosure source used only if the primary source is unavailable. Availability and attribution depend on the actual feature and dataset. A data collection service such as HasData does not confer rights in the underlying website's content.
SEC and public filings
SEC EDGAR is a source of filings and structured information submitted by issuers and other filers. The SEC does not endorse Quantellect or verify our classifications, comparisons, estimates, or conclusions.
A document's presence on a government website does not necessarily place privately authored content within it in the public domain. Filing access, copyright, permitted reuse, and source access rules are separate questions.
Congressional information can come from the U.S. House and Senate disclosure systems, Congress.gov, and commercial vendors. Congressional financial reports carry statutory use restrictions, including on certain commercial uses, credit assessment, and solicitation. Public access does not remove these restrictions or establish a right to invoke the news media exception.
FINRA and other market bodies
FINRA is a self regulatory organization, not a federal government agency. FINRA datasets have their own terms. Where data is identified as supplied under FINRA's Query API Specific Terms for Equity Data, FINRA is the owner and source of that data and relevant derivative or resultant data. End users may use it only for noncommercial personal or professional purposes and may not further redistribute it.
Different conditions can apply to short interest, short sale volume, trade reporting, exchange feeds, and other market datasets. Reference to CIRO or another market body identifies the source of the particular record, not approval of our analysis.
Short sale volume and outstanding short interest measure different things. Coverage, publication frequency, reporting facility, and revision dates matter. A derived Quantellect measure should not be presented as an official FINRA or CIRO measure.
FRED and economic sources
FRED and ALFRED are services of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Series can originate with government bodies or with other organizations that retain their own rights. A FRED listing does not grant permission to reuse all underlying series.
This product uses the FRED® API but is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Use of Quantellect features that use the FRED API is subject to the FRED API terms within its Legal Notices. Read the Terms of Use for the applicable downstream agreement.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is credited as the source of BLS information. Quantellect may calculate transformations or comparisons from that information; those calculations are ours unless otherwise identified. BLS source attribution does not imply endorsement or permission to use its emblem.
Economic and public information can also be credited to the Federal Reserve and FOMC, U.S. Census Bureau, USAspending.gov, U.S. Treasury, Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, and other original publishers identified with a series or document. Dataset licences and required attribution vary. Revisions, seasonal adjustment, release timing, and units should be checked before comparing observations.
Issuers, identifiers, ratings, and news
ETF holdings and issuer information can be obtained from issuer publications or a vendor. Published holdings, inferred exposures, and synthetic representations are different and should be labeled accordingly.
Identifiers, logos, indices, ratings, news articles, photographs, and transcripts may have rights separate from the numerical data. For example, obtaining a security identifier through a mapping service does not establish unrestricted rights in every associated identifier system. A press release feed licence does not automatically cover unrelated news articles or images.
Ratings and price targets remain attributed to their original source and date. Quantellect's computed score should be distinguishable from a supplier's proprietary score or rating.
Research software
Quantellect uses internally developed backtesting software. Published results must identify the engine version and run-specific assumptions. A software acknowledgement does not imply sponsorship, validation of a strategy, or a licence to underlying market data. If we distribute software components, the applicable licence texts and notices must accompany them as required.
Source labels, rights, and corrections
Where required, source attribution and a link must appear with the actual table, chart, output, download, or other display. A legal page is supplementary to that visible credit.
Unless an applicable licence or separate permission expressly allows it, access to Quantellect does not authorize bulk extraction, onward distribution, resale, unrestricted AI training, or removal of source notices. Rights in public domain and openly licensed materials are preserved according to their applicable status and terms.
Data can be delayed, revised, incomplete, or affected by limitations in coverage and methodology. No regulator, exchange, vendor, issuer, or software project is represented as having approved Quantellect's research.
